Preparation & Attire
During the Kayak Tour Please wear clothes that are easy to move in and that you don’t mind getting wet for the kayak tour. (When getting on and off the kayak, you may be submerged up to your knees in water, and you may get splashed a bit while paddling.)
Wearing Life Jackets and Marine Boots For safety, all guests are required to wear life jackets and marine boots. We also have sizes suitable for small children, so please rest assured. When you make a reservation, we will ask for your shoe size and other details.
Items to Bring with You Towel, change of clothes, hat, sunscreen, drinks (in a water bottle recommended), insect repellent spray, and cold protection clothing and rainwear depending on the season and weather.
Please Check Before Applying for the Kayak Tour The kayak tour may be rescheduled, have its start time changed, or be canceled depending on the condition of the river or environment. There will be no cancellation fees if the kayak tour is canceled due to our company’s judgment. All kayak tours will proceed even in rainy weather. Please dress according to the weather and temperature. There is nothing to block the sunlight during the tour. Please take measures against sunburn, such as wearing a hat or applying sunscreen. If you are prone to motion sickness, we recommend preparing motion sickness medicine in advance. For more details, please refer to our frequently asked questions.
Frequently Asked Questions
What happens in case of rain or stormy weather? We generally conduct tours even in rainy weather. Please wear rain gear and be prepared to depart. However, depending on the amount of rainfall, if the river flow becomes too strong or the water surface conditions are not good, we may decide to cancel the tour for the safety of our guests. In the event of a cancellation or changes in time, we will contact the main organizer. If the tour is canceled, we are also available to discuss alternative programs, tours, and recommended sightseeing information.
What about restrooms and changing clothes? Restrooms are available at our shop. The shop is located adjacent to the kayak tour location (Hija River) and is very close, but please use the restroom before departing for the tour. After the tour, there are separate changing rooms for men and women available for use. During the kayak tour, you may be submerged up to your knees in water when getting on and off the kayak, and you may get splashed a bit while paddling. Please come dressed in clothes that are easy to move in and that you don’t mind getting wet.
Is there parking available? You can use our shop’s parking lot.

Travel time from Naha City If coming by public bus from Naha (travel time about 80 minutes)
Please take bus lines 28, 29, or 120 and get off at the “Mizugama” bus stop. It’s about an 8-minute walk from the bus stop to the shop.
